Having started photography professionally 12 years ago, maintaining the joy of capturing images as during my study years is a constant challenge.

Creatively constrained by a technique that has been perfected over the years and a high demand on myself, I have long searched for a practice of photography that is more relaxed and free from the codes learned over the course of my various assignments.

Driven by a desire to find a certain innocence and a new freshness in my images, this quest was found in street photography with a smartphone. This lightweight tool, always in my pocket, allowed me to get closer to what is the essence of photography and what touches me: the search for that "decisive moment" that Henri Cartier-Bresson spoke of.

So it is during my long walks in Paris or elsewhere that I capture these unusual moments, often on the fly without looking at the screen. The total purification comes through the timeless aesthetic of black and white, geometry, the representation of life and the passing of time.
